How to become a Christian?
Introduction: Becoming a Christian involves a death to self and a new birth in the spirit. God is the creator of every person but He is not everyone's father until we are born again as God's children into His family through the new birth. God's love accepts us and His holiness changes us to be holy as He is holy for without holiness no one will see God.
1 Peter 1:15-17 "But just as he who called you is holy, so be holy in all you do; for it is written: “Be holy, because I am holy.” Hebrews 12:14 "Make every effort to live in peace with everyone and to be holy; without holiness no one will see the Lord".
1. Recognize your Spiritual condition

1 John 2:16 "For everything in the world--the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life--comes not from the Father but from the world".

2. Repent of your sinful conceit

3. Receive the Saviour completely

Whoever does not deny themselves and bear their own cross and follow me cannot be my disciple...So therefore, any one of you who does not renounce or forsake all that he has cannot be my disciple".
